There are so many things for the kids to do during their school holidays, and school starts again in two days...

Hello, my lovely friends! This morning is such a bright and cheerful day. I was planning to stay home and do some crafts, relaxing and not rushing because the kids are still on school break. Later in the morning, I have some housework to do, though not much, just sweeping and mopping as usual. But today I thought I'd make something delicious to eat at home, so I wasn't in a hurry. Eventually, the kids wanted to go out, and now we have so many things to do! Let's see how it all unfolds...

After finishing the housework, it's time to brew some herbal tea. At first, I thought about making hibiscus tea, but I drink that quite often already. So this time, I switched to an herbal drink that quenches thirst and relieves heat. It's made from dried, round fruits with many seeds inside. When boiled in hot water, it turns a brown color with a very refreshing aroma. It feels good to drink, and it's even more refreshing with ice. I also added some dried longan to increase the sweetness. This is called "Luo Han Guo tea."

After the children woke up and finished eating the food I had prepared, we went upstairs to work. The children did their homework while I did my crafts, and my husband worked at his desk until almost 1 PM. My children wanted to go out, saying that school was about to start and asked if they could have a trip before it began. Haha! So we chose a place to go. The children wanted to go to a shopping mall, and their goal was to browse the toy stores. After showering and getting dressed, we got in the car and drove off. Not long after, my husband stopped at a convenience store to buy some snacks for the children. They ate for a while, and when I looked again, they had all fallen asleep, both siblings.

Today was very strange. The road was congested with traffic on both sides the entire way, making us arrive quite late – around 3 or almost 4 PM. We walked inside for a while, and then the kids started complaining that they were hungry because it was already past 5 PM. So we went to look at the restaurants on the lower floor of the shopping mall. After choosing for a short time, we decided on a noodle shop that served both rice and noodles. It was quite crowded today, probably because it was a school holiday. The shopping area and even the restaurants were packed.

The staff were very polite and friendly, always smiling. The kids had macaroni, my husband had rice with lava egg and stir-fried tofu, and I had noodles. After we had been enjoying our meal for a while, my little one started getting restless again. I was enjoying my food so much when she said, "Mom, I have a stomach ache, I need to go to the bathroom!" Haha! Everything had to stop immediately. I rushed her to the restroom. It wasn't crowded downstairs, so we had to go up to the second floor of the shopping mall... which interrupted my meal. My husband paid the bill and then followed me upstairs, and we continued shopping.

My husband visited the car showroom set up in the mall, which featured many brands, both gasoline and electric cars... I just followed along, not really looking to buy anything. I just wanted to see the kids laughing and smiling, enjoying the happiness they were experiencing. As we walked around, the kids started complaining of hunger, so before heading home, my husband bought them some bread from a famous bakery. Occasionally, we took pictures at the spots the mall had set up or at pretty spots to keep as memories for the kids to look back on in the future. And that concluded our activities for the day... This time, before heading home, we'll probably spend another hour or so. Time flies so fast; it's already 9 PM... Oh, I forgot to mention, before we went home, I stopped by the mobile phone section, haha! A little temptation struck, but I couldn't resist. I was eyeing a phone of a brand I wanted, but the economy isn't great right now, so I'll stick with what I can use for now and don't need to rush into buying a new one. But I secretly thought, "See you later, new phone..." Okay, that's all for my story today. Thank you for reading. See you next time with more stories to share. Bye everyone...
