Here we go!
This one has been a long time coming. Soon, I'm about to attempt to install a wood stove into our mobile home. I've got all of the resources, just not the experience, but I'm about to get that. Being able to heat our home with wood will be a huge step in the correct direction for us. In this video, in a round about sort of way, I share about this upcoming project. Enjoy!

Hey papa pepper. Do the rocks have any fossils in them? Going fossil hunting in GB we find shells, sticks, and worms.
I remerber one kid made the news here for finding rare one.
We find mostly shells and worms. There is another common rock in the creeks around here that contain most of the fossils. I don't think I've seen any in these. Good question!
I also believe wood is the right direction - super efficient wood!

I wish I was there to help finish this project..i love the science of the thermal dynamics and the art of putting the rocks all in place.
The stones look good! Cement board under will support the stones better than sheet rock.
Outside air is smart, be sure to add a damper to control heat.
