It seems that the children have a good understanding of life. They realize the wisdom in many parts of our lifestyle, and therefore are eager to participate. In these photos, our two oldest girls are planting watermelons and pumpkins. They have wanted to grow something for a while, and now that the weather is almost warming up, it's time to sow our seeds. They are even having a contest to see who can grow the biggest pumpkin, and they hope to make some pumpkin pie as well. Here's the planting photos. Enjoy!

That'a wonderful idea @papa-pepper, The children follow our footsteps we need to teach them how to value everything. Planting vegetables etc. need more time, care and patient to harvest and thats really hard to do.
I think they will both win and everyone will have too many big pies to eat till you are all fed up with pumpkin pies! Haha haha
