HOMEGROWN DUCK-HATCHED GUINEA FOWL KEETS

in #homesteading6 years ago

And now for the video!!!

After a long day on the road, I was able to make it home just after our keets started hatching. Unfortunately their mother was killed and eaten by a predator (I'm thinking raccoon), but we tucked her eggs under some of our ducks and soon they were able to finish the job. Having broody poultry on the homestead sure comes in handy!

Your animal family keeps growing.... :-)

Here are the correct answers! Well pretty sure they are!
1 - Duck
2 - Left some feathers and hit the road? No? Well I'm sure she probably was eaten then!
3 - Pest control and for food
4 - Raccoon is the likely suspect!

Nice to see you back on the land, now get back to work!! LOL

Working up a sweat right now!
