I DIDN'T WANT TO LET IT DIE
This opossum was almost shot tonight.
I saw this opossum earlier, and it was almost shot to death. Thankfully, I was given an opportunity to step in, so I did. Here's what happened.
A SECOND CHANCE AT LIFE
This opossum was stopping in at a neighbors house tonight. He took a couple of shots at it as it approached the area where he keeps his chickens. After multiple misses, I offered to "take care of it for him," at which point he offered me the gun. I passed on that option, crawled through the barbed wire fence and took off towards it. Soon, it was in my arms, no more ammunition was wasted, and the opossum was given another day (or night) of life. Papa-pepper to the rescue, lol.
