I love seeing these creatures!

I was able to enjoy sometime photographing this incredible creature down at the lake the other day. These were taken with my phone, and I think that they turned out rather well. The Northern Water Snake (Nerodia sipedon) is a large, nonvenomous water snake that is common in our area. Enjoy the photos!

    That's a handsome looking snake! And a big one! Nice catch @papa-pepper! Chances are I might not make out to the river to look for some myself due to the current conditions.
