OUR FIRST QUAIL EGG OF 2021

And so it begins...

We've been waiting for this. During the winter, the quail take the season off of laying. Once spring peeks its head out again, the males start crowing and the females start laying. Recently, the first egg was laid, and soon many more should follow. We hope to hatch some again, so the more that start laying sooner, the better. Here's a couple photos of Pinkie-Pepper showing how happy she was to see this. Enjoy!
