SNAKE GOURD HARVEST TODAY

in #food5 years ago

The kitchen forecast for today is delicious!

Wow, after just a few days gone, more snake gourds were definitely ready. I'm blown away at how productive these can be. My favorite part was watching Buddy Pepper struggle with the big one, and it's only half the size of the biggest one I've got growing to save for seed. Check these out!

Blessings. I just found your steemit page searching for folks with similar interests on here. My family and I have just moved from Cambodia to Suriname. We are I-tal chefs and both have an agricultural background, and are hoping to get some sort of permaculture farm-to-table restaurant established. We'll be following your page. Beautiful family. Give thanks.

Thank you very much! Been checking out your story, and what a great introduction. Blessed to meet you man, and I hope that things go well for you in life, and on steemit!

Likewise, where do you live/farm by the way?

Awwww...so cute!

Those get to be giant! what all can you do with them?

We eat them. And the big ones we save for seeds, but are hoping to craft some didgeridoos out of them too. The food preparations options seem to be quite a few, and I've got some great ideas of other ways to prepare them. Also, they freeze well, which really helps.

Thanks for sharing your experience with us!
