STANDING IN THE GAP (Generational & Informational)
Shall we rise to the occasion?
I believe that I'm standing in a gap. This gap is both generational and informational, and they overlap. It seems that previous generations had a great deal of knowledge and information, conveniently stored in their own brains. These days, although people say we are living in "the information age," most people reply heavily on the internet and smart phones in order to have any information. As we continue to transition from a lifestyle of being dependent consumers in the city to living a more self-sufficient, homesteading life in the country, it's observations like this that drive us to make the most of our opportunities in gaining wisdom, knowledge, and information from our elders and passing it on to the next generation, in order to set them up for success.
