STEEM-POCALYPSE SURVIVAL GAME SEASON 3 - DAY 5 ROUND 1 - 625 STEEM Prize Pool So Far
Who wants to try their luck with Tom this season?
Each season so far the teams have had the opportunity to meet up with a man with some cans of food, who is usually called Tom.
It was Tom who wound up shooting @ellepdub to death on her birthday in season 1, and has caused others some trouble as well. Let's see what the teams chose this season.
DAY 4 ROUND 2 RESULTS
Since the majority of the teams had just eaten some Purslane, they did not even want to mess around with Tom. Team after team took one look at the situation and chose to just keep driving.
TEAM BARZ was the only team who needed to risk trying to get some cans from Tom. Several options existed, but TEAM BARZ chose to just call out to Tom and attempt to barter.
With his gun drawn, Tom appeared directly behind TEAM BARZ and startled them when he greeted them. The team explained their situation and asked Tom if he would consider trading a few cans for something. Of course, TEAM BARZ did not have much to offer Tom in return, but he noticed their pistol.
Now Tom may carry a gun and threaten to shoot people, but he sure doesn't like others having guns around him. Knowing the desperate situation that TEAM BARZ is in, he didn't want to risk a shoot out, so he generously offered TEAM BARZ two rations of food each, in exchange for the pistol.
TEAM BARZ was not thrilled about suddenly becoming unarmed, but they would rather be alive and unarmed than dead men with a gun. TEAM BARZ gladly ate one ration each right away and then took their backup food supply back to the truck and took off. That was close enough.
DAY 4 ROUND 2 SCENARIO
All of the teams are enjoying their current rate of travel thanks to the vehicle. In a way, it almost reminds them of how things were prior to the black out.
Thoughts of Tom are still in their minds when they hear a noise. A vehicle is actually following them!
The teams are completely unprepared for this, and they begin to worry. It could be anyone, even Tom. Unsure of what to do, the teams keep driving for the time being. Soon though, they run into an issue. Up ahead, there is a gorge. A deep ravine that they do not want to fall into.
Should they stop and see who is in the vehicle and what they want? That could be risky. It looks like the opposite side of the canyon is lower, perhaps even just low enough that the teams could jump across it if they accelerated enough. Maybe they could pretend to be intending to jump it and then slam on their brakes at the last second, causing the vehicle following them to possible swerve and crash into the gorge. Hmmm....
OPTIONS
OPTION 1 – Stop the truck and see who is in the other vehicle and what they want.
OPTION 2 – Accelerate and attempt to jump the ravine.
OPTION 3 – Pretend to be attempting to jump the gorge and then slam on the brakes.
TEAM RESPONSIBILITY
Each team must reply with their decision within 24 hours of this post to avoid a Coin Toss. You have 3 options. Please remember, there is a lot of money to be earned in this contest and multiple teams have already perished because of Coin Tosses.

You have to wait till @papa-pepper has killed off all the other teams. Then our gracious Lord Of The Wild will grant us the chance for our own adventures in a post-apocalyptic wasteland (Now that I think about it... Where's some backstory ? @papa-pepper)
