My Town Akwanga in 10 Pictures by @patience90

Hi everyone, welcome to my blog. Today, I would love to take you on a tour of my town Akwanga. Akwanga is a commercial town located in the middle belt region in Nasarawa State of Nigeria. As a commercial town, different people from different part of the country resides basically for their business purposes. The indigene of the town are the Madas and the Eggons while other tribes like Igbo, Yoruba, Hausa, Tiv, Urobohs, Igala, Idoma, Efik, Kantan, and many others are found residing in Akwanga. So today, I will show you some places using the what3words.

The College of Education Gate

This is a state College of Education centered on training future teachers in different fields so they could impact on the next generation.
It is located along Jos road, Akwanga.

JK Palms and Garden

This is a relaxation center locate along Wamba road opposite Nasarawa State Sports Academy Akwanga where so many people visit after a day's hard work.
They sell stuff like drinks (both alcohol and non-alcohol), grilled meat and fish, popcorn, ice cream, sharwama etc.
They also have games cot for recreational activities like volleyball, basketball and tennis.
Children are not left behind as there is a playground for kids also.

Danzona Pharmacy

This pharmacy is located along Keffi-Abuja road close to the roundabout.
This is one of my favorite pharmacy where I visit to get medicine and the likes.
They deal both in retail and wholesale also they have professional pharmacists, doctors and nurses attending to people.
It is a private business.

Taal Model E-Library

This library is located beside the Nigerian Police Force office along Keffi-Abuja road Akwanga.
The facility is designed for learning and is equipped with different kinds of computers and internet services for learning.
To become a member, all you need to do is to register and an ID card will be issued to you as a pass.
It is open on Mondays to Fridays 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
There are librarians overseeing the affairs.

Access Bank

This particular bank is located along Keffi-Abuja road Akwanga, directly opposite the Nigerian Police Force area command office Akwanga.
This bank used to be Lion bank before it was later upgraded to Diamond bank and eventually Access Bank.

NACABS Polytechnic Akwanga

NACABS Polytechnic is a private institution of learning located at Wamba bypass Akwanga.
They run different courses such as Accounting, Banking and Finance, Computer Science, Marketing, Business Administration among others.
Recently, it was accredited to start running degree programs.

Chief Magistrate Court

The court has been in existence for close to 20 years and it's located opposite Anglican Church Gudi-Akwanga.

Emir Palace

This palace is beside central mosque, situated along Keffi-Abuja road, Gudi-Akwanga.
This is the palace of the father of the present governor of Nasarawa State.

X-tra Mile Kitchen

X-tra Mile Kitchen Akwanga is located beside palace hotel Akwanga along Jos road.
This is a fast food restaurant known for their delicious meal and they run home and office delivery as well.
Do well to visit them whenever you are in my town.

UBA Akwanga is located along Lafia road Akwanga beside ERCC Zion gate Akwanga.
