Travelling as spinal cord injuries patients
Do Your Research.
Even able person need to do so. Now google map is very useful to preview where the location is and how will it be. Try to call before you go and explain your need. Check for transporting mobility devices usually requires getting around in an accessible vehicle. How you can travel around the area and hire the taxi or private van or etc..
“You are competing with the rest of the people who have disabilities from around the world for accessible and friendly rooms. The longer you wait, the worse the location and you’ll have to take a bus or taxi to see the attractions places.”
Even the small step can stop you, when it’s happen don’t upset, find your help or wait for people to help you. But beautiful of be human is always someone offering help to us.
Don’t forget your limit and minimize your helper help. Prepare for your daily consumable items, such as dipper, wet wipe, urine catheter and bags even sometime you may need to carry Commode to shower.
Air Travel
One of the biggest challenge with mobility disabilities is flying. You should inform the airline when booking a ticket. Most of the airport can serve you until to aeroplane and out of the aeroplane by cabin wheel chair. Allow plenty of extra time to catch connecting flights. Wheelchairs and scooters are frequently damaged by baggage handlers; to prevent this, carry any detachable parts, such as a seat cushion, onto the plane. Most airlines board wheelchair users first, but will exit the plane last.

Plan How You’ll Get Around
Transporting mobility devices usually requires getting around in an accessible vehicle. In London, where the black cabs come with small ramps built into the floorboards, it’s fairly easy to hail an accessible taxi. Other destinations may have only a small number of accessible taxis and frequently must be booked 24 hours or even days in advance.
Typically, most of the place are not a good choice for wheelchair users, since elevators are non-existent or inoperable. Many cities do have accessible city buses with ramps, though.
Traveling has given Witt a new feeling of independence. As disability, you become resourceful and learn to adapt to our physical environment. Actually, I am stressed before I go, but I feel really good when I get back. Now I am ready to go where I need to go.

HAPPY TRAVELLING . Hope it make you enjoy.
GO WELL.
