#sv-gastronomico |Fried yam and egg sauce
Hello my wonderful friends, it's your girl @peace-woka, you are welcome to my blog, today I will be sharing with you how I prepared a very tasty fried yam and egg sauce, I'm very excited because each time I share the steps of how I prepared a meal, I always get great comment, and nice review about my recipe.
This makes me feel special and encourages me to keep going, and soo today I'll be sharing this simple one which most people already know, but for the sake of those who do not know, you will learn after reading through carefully.
Here are the Ingredients
- Tomatoes
- Scotch Bonnet pepper
- Egg
- Yam
- Groundnut/vegetable oil
- Onion
- Maggi
- Salt
- Curry
Preparation
As for mine the first thing I started preparing was my egg sauce because I don't like my fried yam cold, so I had to begin with the sauce before frying the yam so that I'll enjoy it hot.
- 1 peel your yam properly then cut into desired shapes and sizes After that put some amount of groundnut or vegetables oil on fire and allow it to hit
2 Wash your yam with water, then put in a clean bowl sprinkle some amount of water and add a little amount of salt but remember be very careful mix gently.
3 Now you can add in your yam to the hot oil on fire, allow to fry for some minutes, make sure your fire is not too high, it shouldn't fry for too long, well it depends on how you enjoy yours.
Sauce
1 Wash your fresh tomatoes, peppers and onions and chop them into smaller pieces,
2 Next, you will place your sauce pan on fire, add some amount of groundnut oil, after that add some of the already chopped onions along with the whole chopped tomatoes and gently mix.
- 3 Next, add your spice, mine was curry, stir well and allow to fry until the water is completely dried, after that add in your chopped pepper and onion that was left out.
4 Next, break your egg and pour into a clean bowl then proceed to mix it up very well.
5 Next, pour the mixed egg into the tomatoes on fire then add Maggi (seasoning) and salt to taste
