Steem4nigeria Accelerator Contest Week 105: Things I Can't Do For Love.

Hello, my fellow Steemians, I'm here today to participate in this amazing contest organized by @steem4nigeria. Title: What I Can't Do for Love.

Love is an amazing but complex and multifaceted emotions that encompasses care, affection, compassion and a deep connection towards others. Biblical it is said that "love is patient and kind" this is actually true because I'm a living witness, love doesn't hurt but it is about valuing the well-being and happiness of others.

If you are genuinely in love with someone you can go extra mile just to keep the person by your side always no matter the flaws or the behavior of that person. This person's may include; your family members, your friends or your date. But despite all the feelings I have just mentioned there are certain things I can't do for love.

Oh yes, I have. I have loved, and I'm still in love with my family members, especially my mother, because of the bond we've shared, the emotional connection, and the protection we give each other despite the threat of life. This kind of love can never be broken or betrayed because it is real and genuine. The love of a family can never be compared to any kind of love in the world except the love of God.

1. To Fight for love: Some people say that love is worth fighting for but I don't reason that way to me I think love suppose to come naturally and it should be a thing of both parties not one person fighting over another who is not even interested or care about you.

2. Disrespecting personal boundaries: No matter how much I love someone I can't cross their boundaries, I respect people's privacy a lot, and I also like people who set boundaries for themselves because I have my own boundaries too. So if I need someone to respect my boundary I will have to reciprocate. I'm not a clingy type, clingyness is not love to me. If my partner needs space I give it to him/her without wrong motives.

3. Being toxic to myself or to others because of love: I use to hear and see on social media how people kill their ex friends or ex lovers because they couldn't cope with the fact that they are no longer with them some even go further to commit suicide because of separation from love ones. To me I call this "foolishness" because this can never be me. Genuine people will always stay no matter to circumstances but fakes ones will always find excuses to leave. Let them go and move on.

4. Becoming a slave because of love: Love is wonderful feeling experience from both parties not being reduced to slavery. For example romantic relationships where a man expect the lady to wash his cloth, cook for him and wash the dishes when he hasn't even paid her dairy. I'm not saying a lady should not do this but let it be by her own will not to be forced to it against her own will by the partner, sometimes she might not even be allowed to hangout with friends because of the man's insecurities but yet the man goes out to wherever he wants, this is slavery it should be so, they must be mutual respect and agreement between them before love can set in if not they might be a problem.

5. Hiding my insecurities because of love:
   I can't hide things that is bothering me or what my partner is not doing right because of love no I can't do that I will have to voice out my feelings and thought if I truly love that person except I don't and I expect my partner to do so so we can now how to resolve the issues strengthen our love not to keep silence and hope everything will be fine because obviously it won't.

I think Love for others can be expressed without hurting feelings by being considerate and communicate openly to them because communication is very vital in a relationship, showing appreciation and being supportive to them also helps to express love without hurting others feelings.
