BITTER BITTER JUJUBE TEA

HJ and I went to a quaint and charming cafe after our pork cutlet and noodles.

I had the homemade jujube tea while HJ had freshly roasted coffee.

This was so unbelievably bitter that I couldn’t even finish it.. and I usually finish everything. The taste reminded me of Chinese medicine. Bleh. I had a better one a few weeks after.

Yuck. I could tell it was made in house and fresh... on an up note.

HJ’s coffee. She said it was too strong and too roasted.

Although we didn’t exactly love what we ordered, we liked the atmosphere of the cafe and liked the decorations and utensils.
