Brief of Crispy Chicken

Crispy chicken is a fairly popular restaurant on this side of the world. It is located at Watt Market, Calabar south in my state Cross River. It is a new branch of the restaurant that came into being in December 2021. They have other branches in Marian and in another location (can't remember the name now).

The one located at Marian is the most popular because it is a very popular area and it is very open. Also, it is the first branch of Crispy chicken to be open as the other two branches opened last year.

The company has been in existence since 2017 and ever since the restaurant has continued to do business. Since its inception, the company has been having a lot of customers because of its innovations in the restaurant business. Mind you there have been other restaurants that have been in existence long before Crispy chicken came into existence but they have been successful enough to gain a lot of customers.

There are so many reasons why they have succeeded and I will talk about two in the sections below.

The Food Being Sold

At the restaurant, there are so many types of food that are being sold. At first glance, they all fall into the category of Junk food. However, they also sell food that is commonly eaten in different households.

Crispy chicken sells meat pies, doughnuts, burgers, chicken pies, fish pies, egg rolls, fish rolls, etc. These food listed can be placed in the Junk food category. Then other types of food they sell are Moi-Moi, rice (different kinds of rice), Eba & soup, Yam & egg sauce, beans & plantain, etc.

So far amongst all the restaurants, I have visited, Crispy chicken has one of the best (if not the best) tastes in their food.

As their name implies, their food is literally Crispy. When you order and you eat, it is always tasing new, you never feel any old stuff in their food. The food is well prepared and neatly arranged. By looking at the food, you know that they take their time to prepare their food. I suppose that after some time, any leftovers will be disposed of in order for them not to be mixed with newly prepared food.

The taste of their food is so yummy and nice that you always want to get some more after buying your first round. You can tell that everything is prepared to a high standard.

The Ambiance of the Place

It is a place where you can go and relax and cool off after the day's work or during the heat of the day. The place is so relaxing and chilling.

The theme of the restaurant is yellow and red which gives a chilly and peppers feel. However, the environment of the place has a color that makes it bright. It also has very bright light which is put on and fills almost every space in the ceiling. They also have light bulbs that are covered to add to the beauty of the place.

It is one big space that has chairs that are made in red and black colors on both sides of the restaurant. Then the middle is the pathway that leads customers directly to the area where you make an order for what you want. This pathway is seen from the moment you enter the restaurant.

There is a small section where kiddies can play. In that section, there's an arcade game there that kids can hop into and play in case they get bored or tired of sitting down.

They have flat-screen televisions on both sides of the restaurant and also at the place where you can make an order. So anywhere you turn your head, you can view what going on on the television.

The restaurant is always cool as the A.Cs there are always on and very effective. So if you want to relax a little and cool off, that is a nice place to start. You can also hold a quiet meeting there as the place is mostly quiet as there is less noise.

I had the chance to chill there for some time and the place was so refreshing.
