Nigeria Decides... Today

For years now, we've been under an administration that has no respect for its citizen. Some people do not find anything wrong with that while the majority have just been awaiting the next time they have the opportunity to vote.
Most times, the administration has been under fire by the youth of the country after referring to them as 'lazy' and a wider fraction of the population after saying there are lots of 'mad people in the country.' What more can we say?? We have a President that represents us well, so to say...
Anyway, that's not so important anymore. Today is the deal day but I find it painful a lot of people might not be turning out to vote probably because their voting location is too far and they've probably lost interest in voting due to the 11th-hour postponement of the election last week.
Unlike the U.S that has the Republican and Democratic Party, here, we have the APC (All Progressive Congress) and PDP (People's Democratic Party) as the majority and we do not regard the remaining 70+ parties for reasons I do not know. So, over here, if one is not voting for the APC, there's a ninety percent probability he'll vote the PDP.
Meanwhile, there's been speculations that this year's election might not be free of fights as both major candidates are a little bit desperate and as such their supporters might be violent if they find out their candidate lost. As a matter of fact, Kaduna state might be having some issues as per violence now.
In recent times, thugs and hoodlums might just surface and jet-away with the ballot boxes but that won't be happening this year as the President has said 'Anyone that touches the ballot box does so at the expense of his own life.' So everyone has stayed clear of the boxes and we hope to have a very free and fair election.
Situation Report at my Polling Unit

Over here in my polling unit, everything went on as planned, no violence whatsoever except that the agents and officers came rather late and the election didn't start till it was 11 a.m which makes them three hours later than scheduled.
Though I could hear noise from other polling units around, my unit remained as peaceful as expected, thanks to the deployed police officers around.
Today's election was for the federal officials of the country; the Presidents, the Senators and the House of Reps. I had to delay this post so as to attain the final result of the election in my polling unit to complete this post.
The PDP won all the elections in my polling unit which all their candidates were well voted for in my polling unit. Let me do a proper breakdown of the votes here:
For the House of Represntative
APC - 28
APGA - 2
PDP - 39
For the Senatorial seat of Lagos West
APC - 27
PDP - 37
For the Presidential seat
APC - 27
PDP - 39
Disclaimer:-
This is not the final result of the elections, this is just for my polling unit. We are still patiently waiting for the collation officers around the states to do theirs and get their results to the Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC) for result announcement....
That would be all for today.
Till I write again,
Thanks for coming!
