This is the climb the riders in Le Tour de France have to face today.
33 km uphill to the renound ski station of Val Thorens.
As I have climbed a few mountains with my bike a few years ago, I know from first hand how tough it is. My longest climb was Le Grand Ballon for around 14 kilometers. It is 14 kilometers of intense muscle tension, pain, maximum heart rate and no moment of recovery.
Now double that amount, and add another 7km and there is Val Thorens!
Insanely hard, even if the race is only 60 kilometers long and even in you are a trained pro athlete.
The differences on the top will be huge!
Come on, Julian, go for the podium!

Not going to be easy for them but they can do it for sure thanks for keeping us updated about Le Tour de France
I sometimes watch bike riding on TV. But here in my country it's not a familiar game.

What a hard race for Alaphilippe and great Nibali. My favorite is Kreuziger, pity that he dropped to 16th position. His plan was 15th place so he almost did it.
