Apple's cash position is enough to give $34 to every single person on the planet

in #money9 years ago

Apple's today announced its enormous cash pile grew to $256.8 billion in the fiscal second quarter, up more than $10 billion from the previous quarter.

This means the company is sitting on enough cash to give about $34 to EVERY single human being living on earth.

$256.8 billion!! ...To put that massive amount into perspective, Bitcoin's current market cap is 'only' $23.6 billion.

Apple could buy:

  • Tesla ($52 billion)
  • Netflix ($67 billion)
  • Uber ($55 billion)
  • Twitter ($13 billion)
  • All Bitcoin and Steem in circulation ($23.7 billion)
...and still have about $46 billion cash left.

But who cares about Apple's cash position? All you want is the ability to search for the right Emoji on your iPhone, don't you?

Well it's not fair for them to give away it all. Half would suffice. I eagerly await my 17 dollars :0)

It is not just Apple either. Together the corporations are hoarding trillions in cash. Probably enough to pay the national debt and forcing the printing presses to keep running. They are tanking our economy, do they know this?

Either way you look at it, that's ONE expensive Apple...
