Hungry for justice
Hungry for justice
"Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
Because they will be satisfied "
(Matthew 5: 6)
But when this man was alone, he stopped being strong. I was moaning (see Mark 5: 4-5).
Men who are crying are uncontrollable because in the depths of their hearts, they have become something they did not want to be.
Not wanting to be who you are is the key to liberation. It is not what you have done that makes you a candidate for God's forgiveness: if you do not feel about what you have done and how you feel about what you want to be.
Jesus did not cross the Sea of Galilee in the middle of a stormy night to find this man simply because he had an unclean spirit. No doubt there were many more people with unclean spirits on the bank of the river where Jesus was. No ... Jesus was led by God to where this man was because this man was in the graves moaning. He did not want to be the man he was converted. He did not want the future to be the same as the past.
- Thank you Jesus did not say "blessed be he because he is righteous". That would eliminate us all from God's blessing. + Thank you Jesus said "Blessed is he who still wants to be righteous; the one who has an appetite to do the right things, + who is thirsty to be a better person, who remains in the desire to be complete but still is not ...
- The one who still wants to be the good husband who knows that he is not yet ...
- The one who still wants to be the father who thinks he can be, but still is not ...
- The one who wants to change and grow ...
- He who wishes to be holy. "
Liberation begins with desire, a PASSION in you that challenges the PROBLEM that is in you ...
- I do not want to continue living in this way.
- I do not want to be the way I am.
- I do not want to act like I do.
- I do not want to be a drunk, a drug addict, a homosexual.
- I do not want to be an angry, critical, frivolous, indifferent, destructive, lazy, vulgar man anymore.
- I do not want to be jealous, distrustful or distant.
- What do you no longer want?
- What do you no longer want to do?
- What is your cry to God?
God can and hears you when you cry. Or he condemns you for moaning in front of Him. Rather, He leans towards you when you cry. He comes to you with liberation and forgiveness.
that you want to obtain in your life.
The beatitudes should describe all believers. We all should hunger and thirst for righteousness. We should all be meek before God but brave before men. And so on.
The possessed man didn't stop being strong because he was alone. That's unbiblical.
