Time: How To Use It
In this post I am going to explain what time is and how you can use it to improve the quality of your life.
Definition
Time doesn't really exist. It is nothing but a measurement created by human beings, for human beings to differentiate one event from another. The creation of time was a natural process.
The Past, The Present & The Future
The Past
There is no such thing as The Past. The Past is just a reference or memory stored in your brain. Try going back in time. You can't because it is impossible, because there is no Past. You can only summon a reference from your brain.
The Present
The Present is all there is. Now. It is impossible to reference The Present or to think about it because as soon as you do that, you are referring to The Past.
Many techniques are used to try and experience The Present for what it is, for example: Meditation. Forms of meditation are used to try and reduce or stop thinking in order to experience The Present moment. The experience is said to be extremely pleasurable as it can remove worrying, frustration, anger, stress and other feelings of suffering. Awareness, Consciousness and Happiness are all words that have been used to describe this feeling.
The Future
The Future does not exist either. The Future you think of is actually your brain imagining a situation based on the references of your Past.
How Can You Use "Time" To Improve Your Life?
We now know that:
The Past is a collection of references. The Book.
The Present is being conscious without thinking. The Pen.
The Future is a situation (based on The Past) that you imagine will happen. The Test.
Scenario
You have an empty Book and a Test coming up on quantum physics. You know nothing about quantum physics, however you have been given access to a library where you can research as much as you like about quantum physics before The Test in 1 week. You are allowed to take as many notes as you want during your time at the library, so you decide to use your Pen to write in your Book all of your notes. On The Test day you will be able to use your Book and the notes inside of it to help you answer the questions in The Test. You must also use the same Pen in The Test that you were using to take your notes. Like any Test the more answers you get correct, the more likely you are to pass The Test. The more useful your notes are, the more likely you are to answer correctly.
What This Means
Decisions. The Notes.
Information. The Other Books in the library.
Research from the best Other Books in the library. (Learn from quality sources of information)
Use your Pen to make useful Notes in your Book. (Make good decisions)
Use the Notes in your Book to better answer the questions in The Test. (Be wise and use the knowledge that you have acquired to continue making better decisions and hence improve the quality of your existence)
Pass The Test (Happiness)
Conclusion
You make decisions based on what you know. What you know is your "Past". Your "Past"/Knowledge/References, they are all the same thing. There are 2 ways to acquire knowledge: via experience and via external information. Useful experience and information will improve the quality of your "Past" or knowledge. Your improved "Past" will lead to better decision making in "The Future" because you will able to draw from a quality collection of references to make your decision.
By using "time" this way, you will be able to take control of your life. It won't lead to the impossible, which is never ending happiness, however I can 100% say that it will bring you more of it.

hehe, very cool post. so many battle the 24h day and ask why aren't the days longer. But it's not about the day... it's all about how we choose to see it, to reference it and how we use it (here, priorities matter).
Nice post, keep it up!
"Time" is maybe the most precious thing. Well on this plain anyway.
