Excellent discussion, very thought provoking.

That is until you get to the @ned and Steemit Inc. accounts power down. You treat it very weirdly, using the slippery slope analysis you set up earlier but lacking any context at all about these accounts except to say to how large the power downs and transfers are.

What I will accept is that forking out accounts based on behavior, whatever their privileged position, sets a bad precedent. I also do not support the fork itself, I would possibly support forking to address some blockchain parameters but not rewrite history.
