Gin Bothy 🏡
Bothy is what exactly the label features: a small Scottish cottage type of building situated usually in the middle of nowhere.
Travellers are more than welcome to pop in for a few hours rest, warm up, stay dry, make drinks, food and even spend the night. Bothies are entirely free but get busy in summer so be prepared to share and be social.
The gin I had last night is also from Scotland. The award winning distillery is based in Angus Glens.
The gin didn’t need tonic as it was already infused with apple, honey, ginger and gorse flower. It is named after the drinking cup used in golf and equestrian, a stirrup cup.
