Greys Court
Welcome to National Trust Greys Court, a 10 minute drive away from Henley-on-Thames.
Series of walled gardens await you here. The earliest structure that I still saw today is the wall adjoining the Great Tower, dating from late 11th century.
Sir Felix and Lady Elizabeth Brunner bought the entire estate in 1937. They restored the house and rescued the gardens creating a space of serenity, beauty and of course a comfortable family home.
When Lady Elizabeth Brunner left Greys Court to the National Trust she hoped that the property and its grounds including ha ha walls will continue as a place where families can rest together away from the pressures of present day living and find comfort from anxieties.

"Sir" and "Lady".
It sounds like something out of a book about knights by Walter Scott.
