Isabella Plantation 🦌
Welcome to Isabella Plantation, a lovely oasis here in Richmond Park, London 🇬🇧
The gated off woodland garden is the only place within this Royal Park where deer don’t roam freely.
Isabella Plantation is within a pleasant 40 minute walk from Richmond Gate.
The best way to explore the garden is if you leave the eccentric Mandarin ducks behind and follow the stream. I recommend you take the path on the left.
A couple was impressed by what they thought were lilies.
This plant however which is considered exotic here in the UK is actually skunk 🦨 cabbage. As its common name suggests it stinks. I would have told them that but I didn’t want to ruin it for the guy who was trying to impress with his knowledge about the surrounding nature.
