COMPANIONSHIP.

In the few decades of my stay on earth and little experience in marriage, I have observed an anomaly going on in relationships which has become a common practice now. I don't know if you have observed the same.

A situation where couple stay distant apart due to one reason or the other. (either genuine or not genuine)
The husband might be staying in Canada, while the wife is in Africa, or vice versa.

One of the primary aim of marriage is to solve the problem of loneliness.
It is not good for man to be alone says the Creator.

A married person that stays alone will feel lonely no matter how you try.

So, if loneliness is still a recurring issue in a marriage, it means the relationship is not fulfilling its primary purpose.

Companionship is the joy and beauty of marriage. When you stay together, you plan together, reason together, grow together, sleep together and everything you can do together. But distance can bring a lot things in between that are capable of scattering your home.

Are you a young man planning to get married or young woman waiting to be married? Please plan to stay together. Although, there are occasions that might warrant you staying apart. Maybe business, study or some other things. Plan as much as possible not to allow it to be too long.

I know some father that are just 'sperm donors' they come around when the wife is due to conceive and leave afterwards, even the picture of the baby is sent to them via the internet. The wife is lonely and probably the husband (if there is no woman in the other room) lol..

I don't think that is a fulfilling marriage anybody will dream of having. But some homes are experiencing the described scenario.

Therefore, whether single or married, plan and stay together to enjoy sweet benefits companionship can offer in marriage.
