I recently sat down with Anthony Caprio of the Free Cities Podcast and got to share my crazy story from the past few years. From expatriating to Chile, going to an entrepreneurship bootcamp, volunteering at a real estate development that turned out to be a massive scam, and finally co-founding a new start-up town for makers, entrepreneurs, and freelancers on the coast in the Valdivian rainforest. Cool Episode! How good is the wifi?
Valdivia has great internet availability. You can have a fiber optic line running right into your apartment if you want. One of our members owns an independent ISP in Oregon and he's expanding to service Fort Galt so he'll be setting up a tower relay system for us soon. Internet is essential for many of us so we're not sparing any expense on it.
