Of course in the last period I have really maintained the pace of publishing holidaymakers.

Not bad, as a famous song says "summer is ending", from September we will start again at a good pace.

Of course, I didn't keep up with the holiday rhythms only as regards the creation of content and in fact in the last week, in addition to the usual "August August" barbecue, we also took part in the aubergine festival.

Yes, as you guessed this will be a post in which words will leave room for images and these will be strictly related to food!

Let's go in chronological order and start from the aubergine festival, this was the complete tray...

Let's go and see the dishes in detail, obviously all based on aubergines!

Here is the inevitable macaroni, a really generous portion!

Here, however, is the queen of the party, the parmigiana! You must know that this festival is famous precisely for this dish which entered the Guinness Book of Records as cooked in a giant pan... yes, you understood correctly, this little piece is part of the largest parmigiana in the world!

We continue with the sausage and the bread and then aubergine meatballs, a slice of fried aubergine and a breadcrumb (you can't see them but they are there, under the sandwich).

Here instead there is orange with aubergine and nduja and dessert, a biscuit made with aubergine jam!🤤🤤🤤

Can't miss fruit, fresh watermelon and we're at the top!

Of course during the evening there was also music, dancing and lots of fun.

Before mid-August we had the usual Sunday lunch with the family, I'll show you just one course, cooked by my father-in-law...

Aubergine boats with spaghetti topped with sauce and the filling of the boat... nothing is thrown away!

Certo che in quest'ultimo periodo ho davvero mantenuto ritmi di pubblicazione vacanzieri.

Poco male, come recita una famosa canzone "l'estate sta finendo", da settembre si ripartirà con buon lena.

Naturalmente i ritmi vacanzieri non li ho mantenuti solo per quel che riguarda la creazione di contenuti e infatti nell'ultima settima oltre al consueto barbecue "ferragostano" abbiamo partecipato anche alla sagra della melanzana.

Si, come hai intuito questo sarà un post in cui le parole lasceranno spazio alle immagini e queste saranno prettamente inerenti al cibo!

Andiamo in ordine cronologico e partiamo dalla sagra della melanzana, questo era il vassoio completo...

Andiamo a vedere nel dettaglio le pietanze, ovviamente tutte a base di melanzana!

Qui c'è l'immancabile maccheroni, porzione davvero abbondante!

Qui invece c'è la regina della festa, la parmigiana! Devi sapere che questa sagra è famosa proprio per questa pietanza che è entrata nel guinnes dei primati in quanto cucinata in una padella gigante... si hai capito bene, questo pezzettino fa parte della parmigiana più grande al mondo!

Si prosegue con la salsiccia e il pane e poi polpette di melanzana, una fetta di melanzana fritta ed una panata (non si vedono ma ci sono, sotto il panino).

Qui invece c'è l'arancio con melanzana e nduja e il dolce, un biscotto fatto con marmellata di melanzana!🤤🤤🤤

Non può mancare la frutta, anguria fresca e siamo al top!

Naturalmente durante la serata c'è stata anche musica , balli e tanto divertimento.

Prima del ferragosto abbiamo fatto il consueto pranzo domenicale in famiglia, Ti faccio vedere solo una portata, cucinata da mio Suocero...

Barchette di melanzane con spaghetti conditi con sugo e il ripeno della barchetta... non si butta via niente!

Arriviamo a piccoli passi a ferragosto, come puoi vedere dall'immagine di copertina io ero il grigliatore, coadiuvato naturalmente dalla Mia Mogliettina e dal Samuelino che, ancora prima di nascere, già è un principe della griglia!

Ho iniziato con gli hamburger...

Quj abbiamo la salsiccia classica...

Proseguiamo con quella piccante...

E concludiamo con quella porchettata, praticamente spiedino di salsiccia arrotolato con la pancetta 🤤🤤🤤

Naturalmente prima abbiamo fatto aperitivo con sprizza e patatine varie e la cena si è conclusa con i gelatini.
