The unsung heroes.
They toil to provide day and night.
They may be absent from home,
But truly they make sure home,
Is bright with everyone’s needs catered for,
Fathers we appreciate you.

Fathers’ feared by their sons,
However, adored by their daughters.
They show sons how to be men,
And show daughters,
What a man in their life should be like,
They make sure morals are instilled.

Sometimes their presence is mostly felt than seen,
But truly, in presence we have to admit,
Children fear doing wrong.
Fathers love our mothers,
It is from this that we know how,
A man should love a lady.
They put that smile on our mothers’ faces,
And the home is also able to be happy then.

Fathers make sure that everyone is okay,
Though they are rarely appreciated.
Some fathers are absent, dead or otherwise.
For those men that have taken it,
On themselves to be father figures,
There is a great place in heaven for you,
Because you make a difference,
Each day that you show up.

Some fathers may be faced with responsibility,
They never planned for or imagined,
But all we can say is,
You do not have to be perfect,
You just have to be present,
And keeping showing up everyday.

Children may grow and,
You feel like your job may be done,
But despite adulthood,
Keep being present as we really,
Cherish all the effort you put to make sure,
That we are okay.

Fathers you have taught a lot,
How to fix car tyres,
And always showing up when,
Mechanical problems keeping popping up,
Thank you for teaching us how to drive,
For being patient with us in the process,
Thamk you watching our favorite movies,
Even when they were too “girly”,
And nowhere near your age bracket.

Thank you for being the best fathers.
We thank God each day for you,
Ww prau blessings upon you,
We pray children get to experience your love.
