A Pair of Chairs

They know,
They are inanimate objects
And you should know,
They are not deaf

Your story,
They listened for sure
With a silent laugh
With tears without a groan

You,
Remembering the past
The bad and rotten
Instead of distancing
Precisely melting

You,
Can we sit together again ?
