Refusing to work won't 'work'.

The dream of the left.

Hence the push for bigger and bigger and bigger government and universal basic income. Anyone can stop working…and stop receiving a flow of cash, goods and services.

The goal of the left is to be able to do what you want and still get a flow of cash, goods and services provided by others.

It’s the voting power of so many people with this objective, combined with a firm determination not to be subjected to infinite parasite load, that motivates communists to create depopulation schemes like bioweapons and engineered famines, and capitalists to seek to replace human labor with a one time robot purchase and to replace earth with new terraformable worlds.

To answer the question, if everyone in any of the world’s 215 countries refused to work then…
The work-stop country’s GDP would drop.
Government services would dwindle to nothing.
If there were valuable natural resources in work-stop-land, these resources would be seized by criminals, pirates, guerillas, rebels or foreign armies.
The currency value would fall to zero.
People would migrate to other countries and ask to either have a job or be taken care of.
