My Suggestion To Community Developer Representatives - STEEM DIP
Dear Steemit Inc and Community Developer Representatives !
Hello Steemit friends, I hope you are in good health and blessed. In this post I want to give some of my suggestions regarding the development of the Steemit platform. These suggestions are based on experience and aim to maximize activity through Steemit.com.
I am very happy with the program launched by Steemit Inc in collaboration with Community Developer Representatives to build a more perfect Steemit platform. This is a testament to the seriousness and commitment shown by the company to advance Steemit in the future. I really appreciate the work of the entire team behind the scenes in running the Steemit block system.
During my almost 5 years on Steemit, I love this friendly and luxurious interface platform. What's more is that this network is lightning fast, only 3 seconds to load all activity on the block network. Basically, the appearance and features on Steemit have been designed and developed quite perfectly, for example with the availability of basic features that are needed in interface interactions such as on social media.
The next effort needed is to maximize all work through Steemit.com or Steemit Wallet without dependence on third party services. This is to provide convenience and comfort for users in carry out their activities on Steemit, especially for early users who do not fully understand how the platform works. On this occasion, I would like to give some input to the development team, hopefully this input can be considered for all parties and stakeholders.
I'm in love with this great platform and I've felt quite the impact on the advancement of fintech and the value behind this luxurious platform. Therefore, I dedicate my thoughts to the future development of Steemit. Here are some inputs from me for Steemit development:
Delegation
Delegation currently requires third-party services, which not all early adopters know about some third-party services, including how they work. As it would be more interesting if the Steemit Wallet added the "Delegation" feature. Thus, all users will easily understand the "Delegate" feature provided directly in Steemit Wallet. In addition, if there is an addition about the time period (duration/limit) the Delegation seems to be more unique.
Having a feature that can set a time limit for the Delegation will certainly make it easier for stakeholders to control and manage their value. So that within a certain time the value of their Delegation will return automatically to the stakeholders. This will be easier to manage and more efficient.
- Added "Delegate" feature in Steemit Wallet.
- Setting the duration of the timeframe for "Delegates".
- Displays a list of delegates for outcoming and incoming at the bottom of "Estimated Account Value"
Editor's Post
The features available on the post editor page are enough to support users in creating content. Post editor pages are available in Editor and Markdown modes. Editor mode with friendly and simple features has helped make it easier for users to create content. To provide more efficient convenience, especially for new users on the platform, it is necessary to add some icons in post editor mode.
- Add undo and redo icons.
- Add Bullet and Numbering icon.
- Add Table icon
- Add the Insert Image icon, support for image uploads that can be done directly from the user's gallery, not just adding photos in the URL system.
Notifications
For now the notification feature is running perfectly, mention, follow, vote, and comment activities appear in the notification. But similar notifications don't run on the owner's account (community owner). Notifications that run on the current Owner Account are only about subscribers. Meanwhile, mention, follow, vote, and comment activities are not available.
- Run and enable mention, follow, vote, and comment notifications for account ownership (community owners).
Total View and Resteem
Showing the number of views and resteem seems to be more unique and interesting. View count and resteem will motivate authors to see the number of fans and interest in the posts they publish. To avoid bugs or avoid fake view count, developer can set view count based on device. 1 view for 1 device used, so even if the page is refreshed repeatedly, it will not increase the number of views.
- Bring up view count at the bottom of the post.
- Bring up the number of resteem activity.
Profile Icon
Giving labels and categories to user profile icons based on the number of Steem Power values held will seem more luxurious. A user label icon can be assigned next to the user's profile photo. Category labels for users can be set from the level of plankton, minnow, dolphin, orcha, whale. The awarding of icons is based on the number of Steem Power owners, so it does not include the number of delegates received.
- Plankton: Steem Power value below 500
- Minnow: Steem Power value above 500
- Dolphin: Steem Power value above 5 K - 50 K
- Orcha: Steem Power value above 50 K - 500 K
- Whale: Steem Power value above 500 K
Steemit Badge/Rank
In an effort to give appreciation for the engagement achievements that have been made by users on Steemit, giving Badges and Ranking engagements may be needed. This will motivate and reward users to increase their engagement on the platform. This project can be called Steemit Ranking, a project that appreciates the amount of rewards, comments, followers, posts, and other engagements made by users by giving badges or rankings. Similar projects can be adopted from the Steemitboard project.
- Bring back the Steemitboard with a new name, namely Steemit Ranking: to provide an engagement badge for user achievements.
Embed Video From Social Media
Currently Steemit only supports embed videos from Youtube or Vimeo. It will be more interesting if it is supported by embedding videos from social media, such as videos from Facebook, Twitter, Tik Tok or Instagram. This will provide a strong interest and competitiveness as a supporting platform, where owners can share their videos on social media and link the embed to be displayed on Steemit.
Proof of Share
For other input, maybe the development team can run a Proof of Share project, to provide efficiency to users in their various posts to social media, for example to Twitter. This system will provide evidence for posts that have been shared to Twitter with system integration on the twitter API. The system will automatically enter the post comments on Steemit by providing post proof comments that have been published to Twitter. So, users don't need to go the extra mile to copy/upload the posts they have shared to twitter in the comments column.
That's an idea that I can dedicate to the development of Steemit in the future. Hopefully Steemit will be more victorious and successful in achieving better. I really support all programs that are run to advance Steemit. STEEM ON!
I'm always open to criticism and suggestions, so don't hesitate to comment or even debate. Thanks for reading, supporting and commenting. Good luck to all!

Wow I respect your thoughts. In my opinion you are right since steemit is a social network all social networking giant platforms should add such features then maybe the motivation of the writers will increase. And the number of new users on steemit will also increase. Because the video links of other social networks will be supported here, they will get the features of social networks like Facebook YouTube. Then we can complete our YouTube and Facebook activities here.
Yes, I think on that basis. In addition, to make it easier for influencers on central social media to enter Steemit. They can share their videos and blogs to Steemit.
If that system is supported, of course steemit will be a great competitor platform that supports cross API integration for video.
