My Actifit Report Card: December 20 2022...Terrific Tuesday ๐ฃ๐จ๐๐๐๐ฏ๐๐ ๐ผ๐๐ด๐คโโ ๐ผ๐ถ๐โจ๐
Hello everyone ๐,
Happy Tuesday ๐ and a very warm welcome to my world ๐. I am definitely grateful for this day๐ฏ. It's been another ordinary day and it's now time to wrap things up and get ready for bed ๐ค. As always thank you for stopping by and let's quickly take a look at how my stepping went and also share some of the day's trending stories. Come on ๐จ.
So as usual I had two major walking sessions. Starting off with the fast paced morning session that was quite enjoyable in the fresh morning breeze๐. Then I was back indoors for the little daily household chores. Later in the afternoon I stopped by the shopping centre for some cooking groceries. I squeezed my nap into the rest of the afternoon. Then the final evening walk happened before I got back home safe and sound calling it a day. Of course in between I was watching the news including crypto , lets get into that next.
Trending locally, the usual political shenanigans๐น kept going, otherwise a quiet day.
Globally, Afghanistan trending as the Taliban are back to their old ways, announcing the suspension of female students from all universities ๐. The UN condemned the new rule but the Taliban says it preserves national interest and women's honour๐น.
Over in Ukraine, today president Zelensky was visiting soldiers in the front line east city of Bakmut. Handing out awards to some of the soldiers ๐ฏ. Elsewhere in the UK, the nurses strike entered day two, government still insisting they don't have the money๐.
Across the pond in the US, California earthquake left tens of thousands without power ๐. Meanwhile in Peru, congress is considering moving elections forward to early next year.
Finally, the Argentine team touched down today, Tuesday has been declared a national holiday and lots of people lined the streets to catch a glimpse of the champions๐๐.
A similar situation in Rabat, Morocco as the record breaking football team jetted back in. They've really made their country and Africa at large proud. Congratulations ๐๐ to them as well.
