In celebrating a glorious event, the birth of Jesus, where God has become a human being, sometimes we are confronted with the charge that Christmas is a pagan celebration. Is that true and do we have to abolish the celebration of Christmas and the tree of light and other things related to that Christmas?
In this article, first, let me explain a little about the historical background of Christmas and the secondChristmas (from Portuguese meaning "birth") is a Christian holiday celebrated annually by Christians on December 25 to commemorate the birthday of Jesus Christ. Christmas is celebrated in the evening service on December 24; and morning service on 25 December. Some Orthodox churches celebrate Christmas on January 6 (see also Epiphany).
