Most people stay within their comfort zones because of fear. While looking for an idea to start a business, one can explore his opportunities within his comfort zone, but when growing the business, he has to stretch out of the comfort zone.

You should be ready for just about anything, including being rejected, being discomforted and being said no to, before making a step forward for a business setup. Do not start a business just to confine yourself to a particular location, else you may never grow.

It is not actually easy to try out what you never did before, calling whom you've never called before, going into the market avenues you've never been to and all of that. But for your business to grow, you should be ready for all these. Comfort zone limits business growth. As a business leader, let your conversation ends with advertisement of your business, perhaps with some testimonials from previous clients. The more sales conversation you have, the more sales you'll make.

2 What are you afraid of?

Some business leaders have missed lots of opportunities due to dwelling too much in their comfort zones. Comfort zone makes one feel so safe and free from things that one is afraid of, but the truth be told, one can't land big clients without stretching out and risk that rejection.
I'm some cases, business leaders become afraid of introducing their businesses to the crowd due to stage fright. You have to be prepared to share your thoughts and opinions with others out there if you must grow. Risk that criticism and become better once and for all.

A lot fear failure, fear the unknown, fear opposition and things that if the face with boldness would take their businesses to their dream land. You need to dare what you fear, none of those things would eat you up. Others tried, failed, tried again and later succeeded, you are not an exception.

3 Get out of your own way.

It's not every opportunity that come knocking, most opportunities are what we should look for if we must benefit from them. It's not the audience that reject patronizing us, it's us that are afraid of introducing our products to them. We've got to get out of our own ways.
You need to take a step you should at the right time. Make the call you should when you should. Meet the people you should as at when you should. Fear not and you shall get there.

The more you step out of your comfort zone, the more you scare your fears away and become more comfortable with discomfort. Also, by becoming more comfortable with your discomfort, you're turning your discomfort to a new comfort zone. This would come step after step, not at once. As you create new comfort zones, you in turn get more closer to realizing your dreams.

5 Celebrate small successes with the team.

When you as a business leader affirm and reward your team members for every step forward, you create momentum, excitement, and loyalty.

Rewarding your team outside their regular salaries may seem so difficult to some business leaders, because they see it as eating into their gains. But this is not, it's rather a way of energizing them to give out their best for your business growth.
