2 Corinthians 3: 2

2 Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men:
3 Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.

There is a story about Jephthah, a bastard in Judges 11:1-8 whereby his family drove him aware, yet, they knew God was with him. In due time, he was sought for to be a deliverer for his people.

11 Now Jephthah the Gileadite was a mighty man of valour, and he was the son of an harlot: and Gilead begat Jephthah.
2 And Gilead's wife bare him sons; and his wife's sons grew up, and they thrust out Jephthah, and said unto him, Thou shalt not inherit in our father's house; for thou art the son of a strange woman.
3 Then Jephthah fled from his brethren, and dwelt in the land of Tob: and there were gathered vain men to Jephthah, and went out with him.
4 And it came to pass in process of time, that the children of Ammon made war against Israel.
5 And it was so, that when the children of Ammon made war against Israel, the elders of Gilead went to fetch Jephthah out of the land of Tob:
6 And they said unto Jephthah, Come, and be our captain, that we may fight with the children of Ammon.
7 And Jephthah said unto the elders of Gilead, Did not ye hate me, and expel me out of my father's house? and why are ye come unto me now when ye are in distress?
8 And the elders of Gilead said unto Jephthah, Therefore we turn again to thee now, that thou mayest go with us, and fight against the children of Ammon, and be our head over all the inhabitants of Gilead.

Jephthah was born outside of wedlock, this certainly was no fault of his yet his brothers threw him out from their father’s house because of it and he left without a fight. But he built and polished his gift (military skills). And as the Bible says ‘a man gift makes a way for him (Proverbs 18:16).

So God allowed trouble to befall his brothers that they could not handle by themselves. Again the Bible says when a man’s way pleases the lord, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him (Proverbs 16:7).

Therefore, even though his brothers didn’t like him they couldn’t help noticing the gift that was in him. So they came to beg him for help. Those who rejected you shall come to beg you for help in Jesus name.

Life may seem unbearable today but keep developing your gifts and sustain your walk with the lord. In due time, He will exalt you if you faint not.

DELCARATION

Father, I refuse to be discouraged due to my situation today, I believe you have a great future ahead of me. My gift may not be evident but I’ll keep polishing it till it shines for others to see
