My weekend at Japanese Restaurant || Япошка суши и пицца Харьков (Yaposhka Sushi and Pizza Restaurant)

Well, after lock-down I was craving for nice food and I wanted to go out for a nice lunch or dinner. I was eagerly waiting for the day when corona will go away but unfortunately, that day never came. The situation is a little bit better than before. But thinking about safety, I stayed at home though restrictions and lockdown are over already. Here, most of the restaurants, bars are open and people are going out and enjoying the summer.

So, after 3 months I decided to go out and wanted to have a nice weekend dinner. This time I have decided to go to "Yaposhka Restaurant, Naukova, Kharkiv" (Япошка суши и пицца Харьков), a very well known, popular restaurant of Kharkiv...

I am not a sushi fan but I like sushi a lot. In Kharkiv, we have different types of restaurants but I choose this restaurant because of quality of food, environment, and location. I also had a business meeting so I decided this can be a perfect place for a meeting.

This restaurant is located near city center, 15 minutes drive from my home. You have to make a reservation if you don't want to wait. This restaurant is always full of people. I had to wait for 15 minutes for my table...

The interior of the restaurant is cozy, colorful, and new style of interior. Basically this interior is known as oriental minimalism interior, you will see different types of elements there. The furnitures were colorful and comfortable too... There is also children zone and bar zone for people.

I was not expecting this many people but the reality was like this. The entire restaurant was full of people without a mask. Safety measure was average, they gave me spray, hand sanitizers, etc but still, there was a question. Was it enough to fight corona?

Personally, I liked their sitting arrangements. Also, I liked the choice of colors and elements, kind of festive look and the chairs were comfortable too... Each zone was separated from each other through screening or you can say partition...

Their menu is quite nice and varieties of food. They have both Japanese and Italian Food. Basically, they have Italian pizza, Salads, Japanese Sushi variety, main course, starter and dessert menu.

I have ordered a Sushi set, Cheese nuggets, and garlic chips. For drinks I just took water...

Cheese rolls or nuggets were served with pomegranate sauce which was a kind of sweet acid type of flavor. I really liked the garlic chips...They were quite delicious...

I have ordered fried sushi with salmon, vegetables, and prawn. I don't like an eel fish and also don't like full raw one so I decided to taste this set. I am very choosey when it comes to sushi because I don't like all of the variety of sushi...

The entire sushi set was quite delicious... Oh, I forgot to mention, they served the food so quickly. I had to wait for 10 minutes for my starter.

Of course, I couldn't finish the entire set so I took leftover at home... Just like takeaway... The overall meal was for 500 UAH for two-persons which was almost 20$ approx... Not bad at all...

It was a good meal and a good day...
