Re-Discovering Mulberries: A Rare Local Treasure

in Steemit Iron Chef22 days ago

Greetings of the day SIC!

Hope you are doing great and spending a nice week so far.

Mulberries - Local ones!

Some time back, I stumbled upon a mulberry tree at a family’s place.

It felt like striking gold!

More than 15yrs have passed…

Yes…more than 15yrs that I did not taste one!!!

The little berries were so tempting and after asking for permission, I went to pick some!!!

I took a few home and snapped some beautiful photos of these rare fruits that hold so much charm.

Packed with Health Benefits

Mulberries are not just delicious but also packed with health benefits. They’re full of vitamin C, which gives your immune system a nice little boost.

If you’re feeling low on energy, these berries can help, as they’re known to improve blood circulation.

They’re also rich in antioxidants, which are great for keeping your skin glowing and fighting off those pesky free radicals (basically, the stuff that makes us age faster).

Good for digestion too!

But that’s not all. Mulberries are surprisingly good for digestion too!

They’re high in fiber, making them perfect for keeping your tummy happy.

And if you’re looking for a natural way to keep your bones strong, the vitamin K in mulberries has you covered.

What I love most, though, is how these berries remind us to slow down and enjoy the little things.

They’re a rare find here in Mauritius, but if you ever come across a mulberry tree, don’t miss the chance to enjoy its fruits.

Trust me, it’s nature’s sweetest gift!

Do you have Mulberries in your region!?

Read from you in the comments section below.

Until another post here in SIC!
Wish you well!
