I hope you are all having a nice weekend with your loved ones!
As you probably know, SIC is run by different top food authors of the platform, known as SIC Leaders and who also run different contests to keep us all busy each week!
Below are the MODs who have been helping us in the community the last 12 months :

Let's Refresh...why not!?
Recently we have been seeing some members as well as some leaders who have started to either power down, or leaving the #club5050 or simply not active anymore...
I have been thinking a lot about it and today itself we had @steemcurator01 who mentioned something very important that we need to highlight and at the same time pass on the message to other communities :
Preserving the integrity of the Community!!!
Integrity is doing the right thing even when no one is watching!!!
And to preserve this integrity, instead of re-shuffling roles, I decided to have a refresh and see who want to join SIC as mods and run it together with me...
Comment on this post if you respect all the below requirements for the position!
To be a moderator of SIC, you need to respect the below points and if at anytime you are no more eligible, you need to let me know as soon as possible.
- You need to be a top quality food author having a great and active Steemit profile !
- You have to be someone who is always here to support people first and enjoy working in team.
- You must be a member of at least #club5050 and preferably in #club75 or #club100!
- You must not be powering down.
- You need to be active in the community and teach others to get better.
- POSITIVITY IS A MUST!!!
What will be your overall role and rewards if selected as MOD :
Being a moderator in SIC is in itself a great reward as we are among the top food community and being supported for our great work as a community by the Steemit Team since we started last year!
Our Mods will be expected to run/organize a contest of their choice on a regular basis, all prizes and rewards will be handled by the SIC account or myself.
When running a contest/challenge, the mod is expected to comment on each and every entry received.
Join us in our discord channel and stay connected with the other leaders/mods!
When organizing a contest, the mods are rewarded with some Steem (this depends!!) and some of their posts are nominated for curator support.
Most of the mods/leaders communications with me are through our discord channel.
Anyone can apply, even our actual MODs...

I have experience as a moderator on SteemFoods since Aug/21 and plan to continue my duties there should I get the job here. I would be just as responsible to fulfill my duties.
Although not food related, I have extensive experience in organizing contests.
