How to draw a flower. Lesson for beginners.

Today I was doing a master class on drawing flowers for beginners. And I decided to share it with you. From your comments, I hear that many people really like the flowers I paint here on Steam and you would like to draw as well. Thank you for your pleasant words about my work.

Today I will try to show you how you can draw any flower like "daisy" or "gerbera" that have a flat flower (not like a rose or a tulip that has a bud).
Let us first consider the structure of the flower. Chamomile or gerbera have a middle and petals, which from the center go to the side. The petals may be of different numbers. With this, we will begin our drawing. Draw a circular center and lines the direction of the petals.

Further around these lines form petals. They can be wide and there will be few, or narrow and long, then there will be more around the middle.

After the main flower is drawn, choose the color for the petals. Usually closer to the center of the flower at the petal, the color is different, it becomes lighter (or darker). On my scheme, I made the middle of the petal yellow. Then I make the edges red. Darker I do where the petal falls under another petal or where I want to make a shadow. And the very edge of the petal I make the third color, lighter than the shadow and darker than the color that is in the middle.

If you want to turn your flower, then imagine that you turn the dish. The more you turn the flower, the more the shape of the circle goes into the oval. And the more convex is the middle of the flower.
