What do we have that we could be proud of?

Is it the car that we drive?

The car we drive always gets outdated soon before we know it. It gets old, and out of fashion and you will soon need to replace it.Canva - Black Rolls Royce Car.jpgIs it the money we have? The money we own can vanish in a split second and we can lose everything. Canva - Six 20 Pound Euro.jpgIs it the wealth we own or how much money we have in the bank? Is it how much we earn?

Is it the luxurious things that money can buy, such as a big house which will soon grow old also. That beauty also will fade away someday before you know it.Canva - Brown Wooden House Infront of Swimming Pool Under Blue Sky.jpgIs it our accomplishments in life?

The progress that we have made and the accomplishment we have? That too will be long gone once we hit the grave.

Is it our fortunate looks that are considered handsome or beautiful?

There is a saying that says beauty fades the moment we grow old. It will soon be nothing.

The only beauty that remains is the invisible person inside of us.

So what do we have to be prideful about in life?

What can we boast about? Even tomorrow our life is not guaranteed, no matter how much money we have we are still unable to prevent ourselves from dying.

If tomorrow is uncertain, why do we even speak pridefully about tomorrow?

We are prideful because of the insecurities that are inside of us.

We feel the need to justify ourselves and to prove that we are worth more in order to gain acceptance and recognition. Why do we need this? Could it be the ego inside of us?

I think in the end, all will be lost and gone the moment we die and leave this world.

What matters most is humility, love, and kindness.

Let us be prideful about the actions we took to love one another.

Let us be prideful about the love we held so firmly through the good and bad times.

Let us not pride ourselves in the things so easily destroyed.

But be prideful about kindness, love, and compassion we had for each other.
