All in a Day (Original)
Morning:
Those dreams are lost to me,
trapped in the weeds of your mind,
but your dreaming is bigger
than the oceans of the world,
and it sings to me as I drown.
The disinfecting sun angles,
bent through sheer curtains,
like liquid gold it pours over us
and we are one in the light.
Noon:
When the hours have had
more than a pound of flesh,
and the day wears on eternal,
my infinite includes you,
a thought for companionship.
Tedium in an electric blue sky
that travels overhead lazily,
reminds me that real life is lived
not in grandeur or war
but in these passing seconds.
Night:
When travel steals through my body,
taking with it the strength of the day
and the hopes of the morning,
I recall that I am energy and
can not be created or destroyed.
In material repose on softened sheets
I take my leave of this reality
and send my energy outward
back to the source of the signal,
where inspiration rejuvenates me while I rest.

Wow this is a wonderful work of writing @prufarchy. It's all great, and I especially like this phrase ......
"real life is lived
not in grandeur or war
but in these passing seconds"
Consider it yours as my gift, then ;)
Many Thanks :)
Gorgeous man, exactly what I needed.
