I guess the where is relative to cost... Mostly folks who are going out don't think about "Irish Coffee" as the coffee is like a stimulant. If you have to travle to get one it really impacts the cost.
Most important, do you like whipped cream? Part of the tradition, I guess... If you can find it, use "Middleton's Irish Whiskey" as it's the best. I like "Jamesons" next, but it is a blend.
