The Diary Game: A Day Of Reflection (11-03-2025)

Good day my fellow steemians, how are you all doing? As for me, things has been a little bit good. School stress doesn't permit me to enjoy a better day without complains but it's all for the best. As you all know that each time I show up here, I'm coming with a hot dairy gist and I'll advise you grab your popcorn and enjoy while reading.

Yesterday was a little bit better than the previous day because I had breakfast and not just anyhow breakfast, I actually ate what I craved for. When I woke up that morning, a had a strong cravings for coconut rice with fried dodo and boiled eggs but didn't know how and where to get money from and prepare it so I had my bath and went to school.

While trekking to school, my friend called me and asked how I'm doing and I told him I'm fine though hunger virus is dealing with me without mercy and he laughed so hard and asked for my account details and sent me 5k. I was surprised because this is someone I haven't spoken to in a while and he suddenly remembered and called me. I was so happy, I increased my steps and got to school quickly and went straight to the female hostel food bukka and bought breakfast.

The joy that comes with satisfying your cravings is undescribable and the way I was sweating profusely caused for alarm but I know some will say it's evidence of good living. After having my meal, I walked majestically to my lecture hall and was all smiles through out the class. After the lectures, I went to get my school fees clearance card and went back to class but while going back, I saw a long coaster bus packed in the school premises and I asked one of the students there what the bus was for, and he said it's for our colleagues who are travelling to another state for their National Youth Service Corps Program. I offered a silent prayer for them to get to their destination safely and continued heading to class.

The next class we were supposed to have was cancelled so I began my journey back home though I stopped by a shop to check out a vintage material I wanted to buy. I've checked for material for some days now but I can't find a particular design and pattern I want so I decided to go for something close to what I wanted. When I got to the store, I saw fine materials but didn't know the one to go for so I took some snaps and sent to my friend to help me pick one but guess what, she discouraged me from getting it saying it won't be fine for the style I want to sew and since she's a designer and knows best, I listened to her and left. The search for material continues till I find my choice.

When I got home, I had my bath and had a little rest before waking up to do my toe nails. They looked so dirty and unkempt and I've been postponing days whenever I wanted to make them so I had sit down yesterday and work on them and they came out really beautiful. The only thing I can't do for now, is to braid my hair by myself but I know with time, I'll learn it. While working on my nails, it began to rain and I went inside and continued with my work.

After doing my nails, it was late and the rain had stopped so I ceased the opportunity to go out. I bought beans cake and some beverages, since the weather was cold I had to take something to keep me warm and after having dinner, I took my bath and went to bed.

So guys, that's how I spent yesterday and I'm grateful to God and my friend cos without them, yesterday would've been another boring with my normal eating routine of 0-0-1 but it wasn't so.
