The Diary Game: A Glimpse Into My Day—Buying Soap Dish And New Plates(26-03-2026)

Hello everyone, @purpleidy23 is here again. I'll be sharing a glimpse into my day, so sit tight and enjoy your read. Earlier this morning, I had exams so I woke up early and prepared for it. I left the house way more earlier so I decided to trek to school cos I was short on funds, I met my course mate heading to school too so we walked together and she asked me to join her to a store to buy something since we still had enough time left so I followed her. We got there and I developed interest in picking some items too so I bought soap dish and some new plates.

After picking the items I needed, I made part payment and promised to pick it up after my exams later in the day. I did that because I didn't want to carry those items to school as I wouldn't have where to safe keep them till after my exams. We left to school after making payment, and upon arrival, some of my course mates where already in the hall and I could see faces I never saw during lecture days. I sat with my friends and began to gist though one suggested we revise instead of gisting but my head was already full and I didn't want to load more information into it.

Our lecturer arrived a few moment later and asked us all to sit two on a bench, before giving us attendance to sign. Our answer sheet was distributed first before the question paper, I wrote my exams and was among the first right who submitted and left the hall. I went to the store where I bought those items, completed my payment and returned home. I didn't want to talk to anyone as the exams I wrote had hit hard on me and I didn't want to pass the aggression on anybody. I took my bath, ate my lunch and went to bed.

When I climbed the bed to rest, my course mate came with her fan to my house and asked me to help her charge it and I showed her to socket to plug it herself. When dragged me out of bed to read for tomorrow's exams, I seriously lacked motivation but my friend didn't want to have it so I picked up my material which I had kept by my bedside and began to read. Nothing was entering my head as the reading was forced so I told my friend that I won't continue as I was deceiving myself.

I went outside to sit and my landlord called me and informed me that I was supposed to sweep today but I didn't and someone else filled up the gap for me so I'd have to do same for the person tomorrow so I agreed to him and thanked him for being considerate and not charging the one thousand naira fine. I went inside and boiled water to have tea for dinner since it was evening already.
