The Diary Game: A Rainy Friday (21-03-2025)

Hello my people, trust you're doing great? I am fine thank you, that's for those who cares to know how I'm doing. I hope you enjoyed your weekend and you made the most of it? I'm here again today to gist you all my activities on Friday and I'll be a bit snappy about it as I'm feeling sleepy and needs some rest.

I don't know if there was a downpour on Friday in your area, there was in mine and it made me almost miss lectures because I fell asleep during the heavy rainfall and later woke up to realize that time wasn't on my side anymore but the good thing was, I had done my chores and even had my bath before the downpour and was prepared for school so when I woke up, I just rushed out to school. I joined a mini bus to school but it kept stopping at interval to pick other passengers and I wasn't really cool with it but Thank God, I finally got to school.

When I got to school, the lecturer was already in class and almost getting to the end of the class. I sat outside on the pavement close to the class and listened because there was no way I could go in under the lecturer's watch. Towards the end of class, the lecturer asked for attendance list and found one hundred and four names and he asked that those in attendance should take numbers. I seized the moment to rush into class without his notice and got my number too and thanks to my friend who wrote my name in the attendance list. The lecturer later found out that only ninety two people were in attendance and he rejected the first list and asked that we write another and this time, numerically.

My friend had gone home after the class so she didn't get to write her name on the second list, I called and asked for her number and write her name before going back home. When I got home, I met my friend trying to have lunch and I joined him right away since it was lunch time. I'm not a fan of beans so I took groceries with floated berries and milk instead and allowed him enjoy his beans alone. I had my bath after lunch and had a little rest before reading my books.

Towards evening, my friend asked that I go to the market to buy foodstuffs for dinner and I did, came back and prepared kpomo sauce and white rice for dinner. While doing this, my friend helped out in the kitchen and was gisting me. This guy has a lot of gist in his mouth, don't know where he gets them from and to think of, he's not even an on air personality but he has stories more than TV and Radio host. I think maybe it's because I told him I like gist so he goes extra miles to source for gist.

After cooking, we had our bath and went out for a walk before coming home to have dinner and then went to church for an event that was anchored by the youths. The event was awesome, it's been ages I saw a colorful choir competition and drama. Everything was well planned and executed. After the event, went back home and had my rest.

I promised to make it snappy, though I know it's mindful and demure. Thanks for your continuous engagement and support, your girl does not take it for granted. I'm super, super grateful. So I'd stop here for tonight, we continue tomorrow. See you on the next post.
