The Diary Game: My Friday Chronicles (28-03-2025)

Steemit greetings my people, how are you doing? Hope you're having the most of your weekend? As for me, this weekend is not like other weekends that I've weekend. Well, what brought me here is to talk about yesterday. I eagerly looked forward to yesterday as there were lots of things I needed to get done and also. One of those things was signing a document I couldn't sign on Thursday as I had no money to transport myself to the venue I was supposed to get it done.

I woke up yesterday with a good feeling since it's Friday atleast I'd get to have a good rest for the weekend, did my chores, had my bath and went off to school. It was quite early and my phone had shut down the previous night and there was power outage so I couldn't charge my phone during the night. While stepping out of the house, I took my charger along and at one point I decided to stop by a store where charging of phones and other gadgets are done to get my phone charged and I inquired to know what time it was and I was told 7:44am. I left my phone with them and went back home.

When I got home, I decided to engage myself as I couldn't go back to bed so I polished my nails and did a little makeup on my face. This will actually be the first time being on makeup to school, the mind up wasn't a loud one but rather very mild so the outcome won't be like what you might be expecting and two hours later, I got my phone from where I plugged it and went directly to school afterwards. On getting to school, I found out from my course mates that we had just one class for the day and it was gonna start by 12pm and it was just few minutes past eleven.

I was hungry and needed to eat something real quick and fortunately a vendor walked past me and I called her and bought bread and bean cake from her which was what I had as my breakfast and some minutes before 12noon, I went to our lecture hall and joined others of my colleagues who were waiting for the course lecturer but guess what, he came really late this time. This class was his last for the semester and we expected him to come early and take attendance as usual but to our greatest surprise, he came and hour later. We still had the class despite the fact that he came at the time the class was supposed to end.

I was eagerly waiting for the end of the class so I could rush down to my school's permanent site to sign a document. I rushed out of the class and headed out to the gate, boarded mini bus with some of my course mates who were also coming to permanent site for same purpose. We got to the school and we found out to access the administrative block we had to enter a tricycle from the school gate because the distance of the class rooms from the gate was very far. We entered the tricycle, got to the admin block and submitted the document. We were asked to go down and wait somewhere for the document and we did just that.

In a short while, the document was returned to us stamped and signed. I collected mine and left with my course mate, I made sure she boarded a bus back to school while I went to my friend's place. I wrote a timetable where my weekly activities and feeding can be found and in it, weekends are for eating at my friend's place so when I got to his house, I had my bath and lunch and went to bed. I had a slight headache and never wanted my friend to know about it because he'd persuade me to take drugs and that's something I don't like.

When I woke up, I was a bit relieved and my friend suggested that we see a movie. I wasn't really in the mood to see any movie or engage in any activity as I wasn't feeling too well but trust my friend to always disturb and want you to follow his biddings especially when you don't communicate your problem to him. I just managed to see a movie with him before going into the kitchen to prepare something for dinner.

After making the dinner, we had our bath, had the dinner and went out to write. It took me about thirty minutes or more to finish up with the blogging before my phone went off.
