The Diary Game: My Unplanned Thursday (27-03-2025)

in Hot News Community10 months ago

Hello my favorite people, how are you doing? I think I'm fine, I'm not certain cos of my current mood but hope you thinks will get better for us all. It's diary game time that's why I am here to do what I know how to do best. I never thought I'd be able to do this all the time but guess I've grown to love this game the more and going a day without telling you all my daily activities isn't possible.

So I'll be writing about yesterday which was Thursday. It came with its own tales, I woke up early, earlier than I should. I did some chores, washed the dishes before going to get my phone from where I charged it. When I got the phone, I went back to bed and began chatting with few friends online. Y'all know Thursday is always a lecture free day so I had no plans of leaving the house but then I saw a notice online for an impromptu meeting of all year one and two students with the faculty Dean of students so I got prepared and went to school.

on my way to school

When I got to school, I met few of my course mates in school and since the meeting was yet to start so we went to the school clinic to get our clinic card. When we got there, the clinic wasn't open and we were told they open by 9am and it was few minutes to 9am so we waited and just at the right time, a lady walked in and opened the office. She cleaned and dusted some chairs and tables and set things in order so announcing that those who came to see the doctor should come in with their cards and about three people went in and left shortly after they were attended to.

When she settled down, she beckoned on those who came to register and get their clinic cards to come forward. I was the second person in the line, she asked for any means of identification as a student, I presented my fee clearance card and she asked if I had my three passports and I said yes and gave her the passports. She handed me a file to fill, I took the file back to where I was seated and filled it and took it back to her. Upon returning the file, she stamped it and gave me the clinic card. I thank her and went back to my seat and waited for my course mates who were yet to finish up with thiers.

Finally, they were done and we left to the meeting hall as it was almost time for the meeting to kickstart. When we got to the hall, it was occupied by students but little did we know the students were not there for the meeting but for their test rather. A lecturer walked in and asked those who were not there for the test to vacate the hall and we did. I felt the meeting might not hold so I went to the bursary unit to stamp my matriculation gown receipt so I could go get the gown but unfortunately, I was told that the stamping will be done else where and that's at the administrative block, permanent site. I had no money on me for transport so I went back home, had my lunch and went to bed.

lunch's ready

I woke up in the early hours of the evening, I stepped out to get fresh air as the room was very hot. I sat out there for some hours, watching the ongoing drama between my neighbors and I later decided to come online and blog because my phone battery was low and will not last till late night hours when I normally do my blogging. After publishing an article in one of the communities, I went on to do a karaoke where I sang different Songs from my favorites. I don't know why my neighbors were surprised to hear me sing and rap, according to them, I'm always quiet. I did that for some minutes before having dinner, I needed enough energy for the task I had at hand.
