The Diary Game: More Than A Heart Break(07-01-2026)

There's how I operate and I don't know if it's just me or there's someone else who does same thing. I tend to work very hard when I put my heart to do something but if I don't, a task will seem forced on me and I don't usually perform well while at it. I was asked to clean and wash the bathroom some days ago but I didn't have the motivation to but today, before I took my bath, I washed the bathroom and toilet thoroughly with hypo and brush and it was sparkling clean before I took my bath.

When I finished, I searched for something to eat before going to school. I have 12noon class and it was 10am already, I also had plans of going to my school health centre to get drugs for my sister who's been battling with cough for more than a week now but seeing what time it was, I suspended the plan to visit the health centre and focused on just getting my stomach filled before attending lectures. I remembered the meat I had put in the fridge, I went to the fridge and removed it, I poured it into a small bowl and prepared noodles which I ate to school.

I got to school, attended lectures which lasted till 2pm. Stayed in school to read and also get an idea on how to go about doing my assignment which is to review a book. By 4pm, I said goodbye to school and returned home. When I got home, I took my bath and went to the kitchen to find food and eat but there was no food and this was more than a heart break because the level of hunger that gripped me could not be explained. I got to a shop to buy buns, took the entire buns container and selected the biggest ones, bought a bottle of Pepsi and returned home to eat.

I got to rest my head for a while after having my lunch and towards evening, mom came back with some foodstuff which I volunteered to prepare. I knew if I had left it to mom, she won't do it with speed of light. Gen-Z will say she has no sense of urgency, I made dinner, ate very well before I went into my room to study and retired to bed when I started feeling sleepy.
