What, or maybe I should say who, is a “Shooting Star”?

Let me explain... In @qurator's continued dedication on showcasing its members we recently started a weekly feature called the Shining Qurite , where we feature a few recent quality posts from one of our selected members who show exemplary commitment to the platform, engages with other steemians and shares valuable and extraordinary posts to the community.

It's SPUD7 Everybody!

I don't know how I missed SPUDs 3-6 … I participated in SPUD2 and thought the whole thing was great … folks in general just don't know what it is like to be building something together.
I came to Steemit in the mode of building connections with musicians – found a BAD post somebody had written about a musician I was looking for on Steemit, stayed for the opportunities Steemit offered me to write for and with a great group of people

Day 742: 5 Minute Freewrite: Friday- Prompt: Community Garden & The Posture Of Innocence, Day 11

If you have followed my freewrites, you know that Captain Lee and Ms. Thornton live in the same apartment building and go (sometimes) to the same church, and that outside of work, a friendship has developed that wants to bud into romance, but, cool Captain Lee will not cross that working relationship line. Ms. Thornton respects and appreciates that ... and just finds a way to love him anyway (and gets loved back), as things are, in her first appearance in The Posture of Innocence

The Posture Of Innocence, Day 11.5

In the "Community Garden" freewrite, we saw Ms. Thornton's reaction to how angry Captain Lee becomes after he finds out that his own police department had been lying and covering up in the Soames case even more than Mrs. Lilith DeVille over 25 years, the difference being that the Big Loft police not only know who the murderer is, but he was in its ranks

The Shooting Star Wall of Fame

Since we will be featuring a Shooting Star each week we are going to start the Shooting Star Wall of Fame where all the featured members will be placed. We think this will be a great place for new steemians to find great authors who are also starting their awesome steemit adventures.
